Can I lose 9 pounds in 8 days?!
Question: Can I lose 9 pounds in 8 days?
Answers:
I lost 10 pounds in 10 days byt eating lettuce and lettuce only for every meal WITHOUT dressing. If you feel hungry, keep eating lettuce. If your stomach growls, you are not eating enough. The point isnt to starve, its just to eat a lot of basically zero calorie foods. This really works well but it is going to be hard to keep the weight off after the diet, unless u eat much reduced serving sizes
When your body is sick, your mind doesn't feel great either. In any case, you cannot lose 9 pounds in 8 days by starving yourself because you only burn 2000 calories a day and a pound is 3,500 calories. In addition, by the end of your first day, your body will start turning 'systems' off in order to save calories, thinking that food is scarce and it must conserve. Like a person shutting off lights in order to save electricity. Thus each day, you will consume less calories.
What you can do is cut back your calories (to keep your system running at 100%) to no LESS than 1000 calories consumed a day (that's 2-3 pounds in the time allowed) and if you can run (slowishly) for 30 minutes a day, you should burn an extra 300-500 calories everyday, adding up to another 2-3 pounds. Although you may not see the loss at first as you might build muscle, you will loose inches, not weight. And muscle takes more calories to maintain, so it's good in the long run.
You are at a healthy weight now, you seem like you don't need to lose any weight. And I know everyone at the wedding is going to say you look pretty no matter how much you weigh, good luck! :)
