I want to gain muscle?!
Question: I want to gain muscle?
Answers:
Hi. Try using heavy weights, fewer repititions, always go to total muscle failure and get plenty of lean meats.
the first person has a slight idea of what hes talking about.
the sendond person is a complete idiot.
eat more calories than you need
you gain muscle by lifting heavier than you did before, so what does that mean ****** ? it means the faster you increase the weights you work with, the faster you put on muscle, no exception...except volume is important aswell
volume is important becuase it just is, volume in lamens terms is, how long you can lift a wait for (example: 3 sets 8 reps = 21 total reps)
so if you lift a weight thats too heavy, you wont be able to have a lot of volume with that weight
too light and you wont trigger your CNS to release anabolic hormones (thats muscle building hormones)
you have to find the right balance between weight and volume, 3x8-12, 3 or 4 x 8
theres are a few examples of the volume people train with.
1.eat enough calories
2. eat the right foods
3.lift heavy with good volume
i told you enough information that most guys dont find out til months of research.
don't be a ****** . just listen and do what i say. i know its vague, but if i were to add details i'd be lieing to you, everyone respond differently to different workouts
oh yeah, one more thing.
compound lifting is the most important and don't forget to train your legs or back.
im just amazing
To build more muscle you really need to attack your diet. Bulking up on protein and eating every 3 hours will help. Lower reps and higher weights will also help. Check out bodybuilding.com they have a great 12 week programme for this but its really strict but the results are amazing.
eat normal healthy diet. no excess protein that does not build muscle. work out 3 times a week for 2 hours of strength and you should be good.
Lifting heavy weight and consuming lots of lean protein is the best way. Just don't hurt yourself, start small and slow and work your way up.
