Lifting Less Weights with More Sets and Reps?!


Question: Lifting Less Weights with More Sets and Reps?
I wanna get more cut arms. I'm running a lot for the cardio. But to help more, does lifting less weights with more sets and reps help too? or should i lift more weights with less sets and reps?

Answers:

My coach told me that you want quick repition while still making it somewhat of a challenge. When you start lifting small weights it is not long before you can lift more.



less weight and more reps / sets will improve your overall strength / endurance but won't do much to your muscle mass like a gymnast who can lift himself up by his arms, the muscles get stronger but stay leaner


higher weight less reps for bigger muscles



15 reps for every 5 lbs under 150lb
