Do I have a bad diet?!

Question: Do I have a bad diet?
I eat processed carbs a lot but not sugary sweets like cookies and candy but I don't know if it's OKAY to have this kind of diet. My day so far was like this:

breakfast: bowl of Lucky Charms and water

lunch: peanut butter and apple butter sandwhich (on white bread) and water

will eating like this make me fat? I don't eat snacks and I stay under my calorie limit. Will it slow down my metabolism?

Answers:

Eating like that won't make you fat, but it might slow down your metabolism. Lucky Charms and white bread aren't the healthiest, but they're a lot better for ya than cookies and candy all the time. What you should do is try to incorporate into your diet more fruits and vegetables. Fruits are better earlier in the day, and vegetables in the afternoon. The closer to the ground you eat, the better off you'll be. You'll feel a lot better too. Also, don't deprive yourself of foods that you love - like cake, ice cream, etc. Try to do portion control and only eat so much of a certain thing. As long as you don't overdo it & know your limit, you will be set.

Hey,

I'm doing a diet too. I think you should leave out the peanut and apple butters and the white bread. Try wholemeal bread with cream cheese or normal cheese for breakfast, and maybe an apple and some yoghurt. Eating fruits a lot is okay, too. And salad for lunch maybe.
I eat a warm meal (but no fast food etc.) in the evenings and lost 10 pounds so far. (:

If you really want something sweet, eating a piece or two of chocolate is okay. Sometimes the body needs sugar.
