Question: Did I eat too much today? I'm trying to lose weight?
I had a piece of pizza crust, just the crust about 4 inches long
a strawberry ensure
3 bites of beef enchilada and 1 bite of refried beans
is this too much?!?! :/

Pizza crust, a strawberry Ensure, 3 bites of an enchilada, 1 bite of refried beans - Contrary to what you think, this isn't enough! So you will probably lose a bit of weight from what you weighed this morning to tomorrow morning.

Not eating enough won't help you to lose weight either, that is if it's over time.

If you're trying to lose weight, you're going to need to eat! A LOT! But it's about what you're eating, now how much. If you start eating vegetables daily, you'll find yourself full and you won't feel like you're going to pass out. Vegetable juices with low sodium are also a good option if you don't care for veggies.

Try to limit yourself on the carbs. Bread, pasta, pizza, cereal - Your body breaks carbs down into sugar, which is then stored as fat. So you'll want to focus on eating a balanced diet.

I would also recommend drinking plenty of water a day if you're not already. Americans often confuse dehydration with hunger and choose to eat when they're truly dehydrated, therefore eating when they didn't need to. Water will act as a filler, making you not want to eat as much either.

But your choice of foods today wasn't too much. Don't worry.

You didn't eat a lot, but it wasn't really healthy. Even if you're trying to lose weight, I recommend around 1250-2500 calories depending on your age/sex/body type/etc...
But it has to be HEALTHY foods like colourful fruits and vegetables, a good amount of protein (which can be found in eggs, whey powder and many more foods), a decent amount of healthy fats-Not saturated fats that are found in processed and deep-fried foods! The best foods to find these healthy fats are in peanutbutter, almonds, almond butter and avocado. And carbs found in whole wheat foods are the best. Whole wheat foods also provide a good amount of fibre. Fibre takes longer to digest so it will make you feel full, which will make you eat less, which is a very good thing!
Your body is like a furnace, you got to keep it burning throughout the entire day! Eat around 4-6 meals a day so the calories are evenly split between each meal.

But let me remind you that losing weight isn't only about your diet. You have to excersize too, you will lose weight much more quicker, and your muscles will become stronger. The more muscle mass you have, the more calories you burn in a day!

Also, 3500 calories make up 1 pound. Losing weight is all about calories in versus calories out.

no its not too much. remeber if your working out you need the calories to get energy and also not eating doesnt make you lose weight really just try to eat small meals that are healthy and not high in sugar or carbs and youll lose weight



no thats not to much, but if your trying to lose weight dont just sneak in snacks every now and then.. you should have 3 healthy meals a day. and make sure you get alot of exersize. good luck!
