Question: Im getting fatter?! please helpp!!?
i started runing track after gaining 12 pounds after being lazy after the holiday season and not working out...i thought i could eat what i wanted cuz i was running i got lazy on the diet and i ate probably 2500 cals the day before yesterday and 1800-2100 three other days! im so short and in track im long distance and lift for two days but it definitly doesnt burn that much....how do i control myself better?! i want to get back to 108 at least like i was in the beginning of december but today i was 120.8...thank you for your help :)

First off, make sure you have a good night's sleep. This way, food won't be needed as much for energy because your body will have more energy naturally. You're wrong, you cannot just eat whatever you want when you are on a diet. You need to stick to a specific number of calories. For you, I would suggest 1500 calories a day max. If you need to, get rid of the junk food in your house. If you live with your parents, ask them not to buy it anymore. Also, stick to your exercise routine, but do not lift. Lifting builds muscle, which weighs more than fat, so you will seem to gain weight. Good Luck!



Firstly, be patient! and you can achieve it!
Drink two litres of water a day! Drink two cups of green tea a day. Exercise! atleast 40mins in morning and 40mins in afternoon, walking and use of hills. Any exercise that gets you sweating!

Avoid the junk food. Do not skip breakfast. If you can afford it...find a low carb, high protein and high fibre drink to encourage you. Chili is meant to speed up your metabolism.

Always keep active.

And...squeeze fresh lemon in your water. Atleast one piece of fruit a day. Dinner - have some tasty grilled fish or boiled chicken in chicken stock then fry with ginger/garlic,soysauce, chili, a little honey...and heaps of steamed veges. Have your carbohydrates in the morning for breakfast and lunch. Good luck
