Is it ok to eat my meals 6 hours apart?!

Question: Is it ok to eat my meals 6 hours apart?
I normally eat my meals 6 hours apart while incorporating a snack in between each meal. So i would eat breakfast at 6 a snack at 9 lunch at 12 a snack at 3 and dinner at 6. Im trying to gain weight so I was wondering if that sounds good.

Answers:

Sounds ok but do eat healthy snacks. If you are trying to gain weight have another snack at night before bed. And eat your biggest meal when you are going to do nothing afterwards. Also you can eat a high carb diet.

Sounds good. Another thing to try is eating smaller amounts more often. So for example eat 5 to 7 smaller meals throughout a 12 hour period. This will allow your body to digest and metabolize some of the food in between meals giving you more energy. Avocado, quinoa (grain with nice balance of carbs and protein) and coconut (young thai coconuts with coconut meat) are great healthy food options that will help you gain weight. Coconuts make delicious smoothies with ice and a little cinnamon. Great after a workout.
