Is it TRUE that MORE YOU SWEAT THE MORE WEIGHT YOU LOSE?!

Question: Is it TRUE that MORE YOU SWEAT THE MORE WEIGHT YOU LOSE?
i heard that the more you sweat the more weight you lose....is that true?? if it is, does that mean that if i walk 2km on a hot day and sweat more, rather than walking 2km on a cold day i will lose more weight?? can someone clarify this for me please?? thanks =)

Answers:

yes

Yeah, it's somewhat true. You're just losing water, and you're going to drink water after you workout so it's really pointless to try and rid your body of liquid to lose weight. You need water to live.. and to work out you have to be living.

you don't lose WEIGHT, you lose WATER weight. water weight can cause you to be extremely bloated and can add an extra 5-8 pounds here and there. salt makes you retain water.

Not really..I also wouldn't purposely dehydrate myself if I were you, because that would actually give you less energy to exercise, and it would make you feel really uncomfortable.

Yes you do lose more weight sweat

not really,,but it is somewhat true.
