I want to lose 100 lbs. so that I won't be seen as a big guy anymore. Can I!

Question: I want to lose 100 lbs. so that I won't be seen as a big guy anymore. Can I pull it off?
I have a major issue with my looks. I posted a few pics below. I'm 6'3, about 235-240 (estimate), and am forced to shave my head since I lost my hair at a very young age (I spent a lot of money on transplants, but they only gave me some thinning hair in front). I'm trying to make a decision and I'm hoping people will give this a bit of thought and maybe not give me their first answer.

I want to lose 100 lbs. I know this sounds extreme, but I cannot stand being seen as a big guy. I posted a few times on here asking people what kind of guy I looked like and the answers pretty much confirmed my fears. I'm not interested in girls who think men should be big and manly and protect them....even worse, several girls who responded were taller/bigger and told me they'd love a guy like me because it would make them seem smaller by comparison.

On one hand, losing that much weight might make people stop seeing me as some big guy, and I could really care less if people would find me less attractive being skinny....the point isn't to find what other people like and emulate it (which is exactly what everyone encourages me to do), but rather to get as close as I can to what I want. I'll never be totally satisfied since I'm so tall and I'm bald, but all I can do is the best I can.

On the other hand, the other option (and I'm guessing, the one everyone will tell me to do) is simply to get in shape. I admit that it has its positives...obviously, it's healthier, it's more attractive in a mainstream way (though this isn't really a concern of mine), and obviously I cannot transform myself into a physically smaller being due to my basic structure. However, if I do get in shape and some girl finds it hot, I know I will feel terrible because not only will she be inadvertently confirming my negative feelings about myself (she thinks I look good big, whereas I think big and bald is unattractive), but that I worked so hard to get a body that everyone else wants me to strive for, not me. See, I'm not into all that manly protector stuff, and I know that getting in shape (not getting big, but still doing weight training along with cardio) will only encourage that image that I already hate so much.

I'm not interested in hearing how some people think big bald guys are attractive, nor about loving my inner beauty or anything like that. I just want to know if what I want to do (in a nutshell, be able to avoid being seen as a big guy) is possible.

jeeze how many different accounts do you have?

Well it sounds as if you need to balance your diet and exercise. The best way to achieve this is discipline. First, write down a diet plan. This should consist of organic meats, vegetables, fruits, almonds, almond butter instead of peanut butter, etc. Set up six meals a day. Breakfast, snack. Lunch, snack, dinner, snack. In each meal it should only be two hundred to three hundred calories. Of healthy foods and a variety of.food groups. Do not.eat fat empty calories. Each day, preferrably mornings (only because it will help you stay awake and happy.during.the.day) work out after breakfeast. Get up early and train your mind and.body to get into your daily.schedule. it will be hard.at.first. but eventually.you.will be able to train harder run lift and do sit ups crunchea etc. Good luck.

I can't see the pic, but yes, your goal is possible; however, it's unhealthy.
At 6'3 and 135-140 pounds, you would be very underweight.
You should probably try about 180ish.
You would still be thin, but healthy.
This is not based off of opinion or personal preference.
This is based off of medical knowledge.

Getting in shape and dropping weight can be one in the same. The key is to start doing long-distance running. This will workout Type I muscles, which "build" by getting firmer but NOT bigger, while sparing your Type II muscles, which "build" by getting bigger and bulkier. Type II muscles are worked with short bouts of exercise, while Type I are worked with longer bouts of exercise. A way to run that would work your Type II muscles is doing bouts of sprints...sprinting 100 yards, pausing for about a minute, then repeating this 10-20 times. Type I muscles are worked with longer exercises. Try running a few miles each day, adding a mile every 2 weeks. Start with what you can do (if it's only half a mile due to your fitness level, then start there) and keep adding as you can handle it.

This will improve your health significantly while reducing your muscle size and overall size significantly as well. You do need to eat to support your exercise, so don't try to avoid eating in order to drop weight...the body doesn't like to drop weight when you don't eat because it thinks you're in a famine and thus holds onto fat as long as it can. Instead, eat regularly and healthfully, focusing on fresh fruits, vegetables and grains more than legumes, nuts, meat, dairy and eggs.

But seriously, man, I answered your question at least a year ago and then again a week or so ago. When are you going to stop complaining and just take my advice already? Look, you want to drop weight so you can look the way you feel...and yet you're NOT doing it. Why? Why are you just posting the same questions over and over and over again and making zero attempt to actually hit your target weight?

Bottom line: you know how to achieve your goals but you still refuse to do it.
You have two choices: reach your goals and be happy OR choose to not reach your goals and quit complaining because you have CHOSEN to be lazy about meeting your goals.
You cannot both know how to achieve your goals and refuse to but keep complaining.
