700 Calories a day .. Read This! Help!?!

Question: 700 Calories a day .. Read This! Help!?
So I tried to ask this question before but no one really answered what I asked. I just want to know how many calories I have to Burn a day to lose 2-3 pounds a week if I eat 700 calories a day. I know people are like that's starvation mode blah blah blah, but its not for me. I only ate about 900 - 1000 before I am just trying to cut back a little. Im a little over 5 foot Im 17 and a weigh 112 pounds. All my extra weight goes into my stomach so it makes me uncomfortable.

How many calories do I have to burn a day to lose 2-3 pounds a week if I eat 700 calories a day?

The reason you weren't losing before at only 900-1000 is because you're eating so little. Your body is saving every little calorie. Just for one week; try eating 1200-1400 calories and exercise for 60 minutes a day.

You shouldn't be working out if you are only eating 700 calories a day. You could easily lose 2-3 pounds a week with eating 1200-1500 calories and working out an hour a day. You weren't getting the answers you wanted probably because the answers gave advice that is common sense, which you don't seem to have. You will end up gaining weight if you eat 700 cals a day , after you get back to eating normally.

I'd say you'd lose weight on just a low calorie intake on its own, but you must not have a very good metabolism if you werent losing weight before. I would suggest doing about a half hour of cardio a day- burning about 200-400 calories 5-6 times a week and you will lose the weight. Try to keep your calorie intake to mostly fruits veggies and lean proteins. Take vitamins for your body to be healthy!

Hey , I see you are interested in finding information about diet programs, there are many available online today with solid performance records.

I am now a middle aged certified physical trainer, and while food ingestion is a key component to your weight loss program, you need to find a balance of exercise and diet.

And I was in the same situation as you are I have had weight problems since High School. I found the best program I have seen at the link I am providing. If you want to lose weight, you have nothing to lose but the weight. You can try them out if you like with a money back guarantee. Here's the link, good luck.

asked a stupid question - didn't like the answers - asked again.

you'd do well in management.

go ahead, starve. See if we care.

First 700 is TOO few calories. It causes malnutrition, depression, week immune system, digestive problems, bad skin, irritability, constipation, hypoglycemia, etc.

You should use resistance training (weight lifting or exercise bands). Also, doing crunches and other stomach muscle exercises will help firm up your stomach muscles which are probably very flabby and the reason you feel uncomfortable because at 112 pounds you're definitely not fat. Check out the fitness section of prevention magazine online.

To lose weight you need to burn 3500 calories so you need to
1. know your resting metabolic rate (# of calories burned)
2. Track your calories ingested (both food and drink)
3. Track your calories burned through daily activities and exercise.
If #1 + #3 is less than #2, then you'll lose weight.
(unless you have thyroid problems but only your doctor can test for that).
