Dieting motivation? ?!

Question: Dieting motivation? ?
I'm on a diet but I have no motivation to keep dieting. I don't think I'm "fat" I'm just over weight and I am comfortable in my own skin but I am also pre-diabetic. My whole family put me on this diet so that I could stay healthy and not end up diabetic.
But I am just not motivated enough to keep dieting. Seeing a picture of myself doesn't help. Nothing helps.
Most of the time I just think, "I should just quit dieting and eat whatever I want." and I usually do for a day or two but then I go back on my diet.
I was just wondering...are there any ways that I could motivate myself?

So right there you have a belief about yourself that you are fine. So your motivation is to stay where you are because you are comfortable and safe with your current habits without exercising and eating better.

If you want motivation you have to get fed up with your weight. Don't let this depress you. Diabetes runs in my family too and I am motivated by the idea that I am closer to my potential when I'm thinner and that I will live a more fulfilling healther, better life.

So you need to change your beliefs to get the motivation.

You need to believe that the current situation is so unnaceptable to who you are that you are forced to start "living" in the future. Like imagining what you would do if you were thinner, etc.

You said you wanted motivation...

This is how I lost weight.

I personally have had ALOT of problems losing weight in my life, however, Ive been following this diet system that is nothing short of amazing... I suggest you check it out
