Question: I wanna gain weight, im 120 lb and wanna get to 40 lb?
how do i gain weight? im 14 years old, male, 5.9 ft tall and im 120 lb. i want to gain 20 more pounds but don't know how! no matter how much i eat or how much calories i get inside me... i just don't seem to gain weight what diet or what am i suppose to eat or how often or what exactly is it!?

i want to be 140 before MAY 20, that's approximately around 3 months

You need protein- a lot of LEAN protein.

I would recommend eating at least 2400 calories a day. Need the fat intake very low, but eat a lot of lean protein like boneless skinless chicken breast and fish. You can also try protein shakes.

I would also recommend lifting weights to bulk up your muscles.



If you want to gain weight you should start a weight management plan for yourself. What you will have to do is find what your BMR (metabolic rate) and ingest more calories than the amount your body can burn off. But that is if you want to gain weight with body fat. You can also gain weight from muscle, which is heavier than fat. There are lots of ways you are able to gain weight. But remember you dont want to do anything that is unhealthy for you and if you do go on a management plan you should also talk with a doctor for different reasons. One thing you wouldnt want to do is put strain on your heart while just wanting to gain weight.
