How to loose 10 pounds in 4 weeks?!

Question: How to loose 10 pounds in 4 weeks?
I'm not over weight and I just want to know how to loose 10 pounds as fast as possible. I'm 14 and one of the bigger girls in my grade and I just want to fit in with them. They all have really fast matabalisms and I've been trying to loose weight forever to look like them. I'm 5'6" so please, any advice?

Losing weight in someone so young is not straight forward and will require medical/dietetic supervision. Even in adults the average weight loss is only 9-15lbs a year, so this is a long term lifestyle issue, requiring both an appropriate diet and very regular vigorous exercise.

GP for more years than I care to remember

Just go on a healthy diet. When you're thirsty, don't run to the fridge for some soda. Instead drink some water with ice, ice is supposed to help burn fat because it's cold. I watch Dr. Ozz on Oprah's show and I heard a lot of things about this. When you're hungry, instead of a sandwich - eat a salad or some fruit. Eat 5-6 meals a day. Breakfast is most important because it boosts your metabolism and helps you lose weight throughout the day. Lunch and dinner but in smaller portions. Your breakfast should be the biggest meal you eat. Don't eat before you go to bed. Try some cleansing pills to help you lose water weight. Lastly, excersise. You can just run everyday after school or maybe even before if you have the time. Since you're only 14, I would stick to this instead of some heavy duty weight loss plan. Good luck and stay motivated! You can lose 10 pounds in 2-3 weeks by the way. I've done it before :)

By the way, when I said 5-6 meals I meant Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and then 2-3 healthy snacks in between. :)

First of all, you shouldn't care what other people think of the superficial stuff. However, regular cardio exercise (running, using an elliptical, stairs) will burn weight the fastest. While working out with weights will probably make your muscles sore quicker, it actually doesn't burn as many calories. Its a numbers game, burn more calories than you take in, but do it at a healthy pace. Starving and working out all the time is not a good method.

speed up your metabolism, do exercise. doesn't have to be running or gymnastics/cheer leading, just something that keeps you active and is fun.

make sure you don't fit in because of your body, but because of your personality :D

be happy with who you are but also strive to be better :D

and ithink you mean stone

i used to be fat. weighing 80kg (12.6 stone) at 15, but now weigh 69kg (10.86) at 17
i started off doing something fun that wasn't too hard, free-running or parkour, find something that doesn't push you too hard :D
