yes u should take it..
because when u do cardio u can easily burn muscle mass if u do alot of it..
and it also helps you recover from your workouts.. including cardio...

and it fills u up so u dont eat as many carbs...

If you are asking if taking whey protein will help you with muscle gains whilst the cardio targets your body fat then yes.

In addition assuming you are eating 6 meals a day, one of those meals can be 2 scoops of whey in water with an apple and 130grams of cottage cheese etc.

Most protein powders come with scoops of 20-25 gram per serving with each serving containing roughly 100-120 calories if consumed with water alone, so a lot less than eating a meal BUT do not use that as a substitute to not eating.

Protein from food has a higher biological value than powders and will assist you more in your quest.

Hope this answers your question.

protein builds muscle, whey=protein so you're gonna be helping your body build mass by using whey as a supp...if you're trying to lose weight in cardo and such, you're better off just trying to get more lean meats into your diet and get protein naturally, rather than specifically supplementing it.
