Should I eat protein bars?!


Question: Should I eat protein bars?
So let me lay out my situation, Im pretty heavy, I weigh about 240lb right now(I was about 260 before I started dieting/working out) I go to the gym about 5 times a week normally, 4 of the days I do half an hour of weight training and half an hour of cardio and the other day im with a personal trainer. So I was wondering should I start eating protein bars after I work out? Will it make me more tone? Or will it wind up just making me look heavier? If yes what bars do you suggest?

be carefull with the protein bars... 80% of them are filled with sugars and fat content... if u want to eat them ask for the ones that are very lean and light.. low on sugars especially
then your ok

but otherwise your better off with a whey protein shake...
so get a light whey protein shake

and eat healthy



I suggest not to eat protein bars...They tend to have a quite high amount of sugars and calories in it...
It won't increase your tone...but you can eat like once for a week or month....
If you're 18 or above...Try to drink protein shakes instead before and after working out...It's not a bad choice too...

Eating protein bars don't do anything. Not for loosing weight, nothing. Drink a protein shake. You can buy a mix and GNC. Cereals and bars just show what it says but look at the ingredients, it's just sugar. Same with anti oxidants drinks. There is more sugar.



protein bars are scam, they're loaded with sugars. Eat lean protein instead.
