How to lose weight for summer?!


Question: How to lose weight for summer?
I want to lose 15-20 pounds before summer. Please help?? I'm not really sure what to eat and what exercises to do. Oh and I'm on the tennis team at school and we play every other day if that helps.

Tennis is a great way for cardio exercise. You can start by planning out a workout schedule. (Scroll down to the end of this for a quick summary)

Keep FITT in mind (Frequency, Intensity, Type, and Time)
Do it frequently, but make sure you are putting 110% into it.

As for eating, I honestly do not see a change in what I eat. Just as long as you stay away from junk food, Its easy to get some weight off if you keep at it.

I recommend you sign up to a gym (24h Fitness, Curves, etc). They usually have good workout plans and recommendations for your age, body type, and medical status.


One of the most important things to keep in mind, is to NOT STARVE YOURSELF. Many people believe you can lose weight if you just stop eating. The truth is, you'll only get unhealthy. Eat good meals; breakfast, lunch and dinner. Try to keep away from midnight snacks. One small snack between lunch and dinner is okay, maybe a yogurt, fruit, some vegetables, or some sort of a healthy bar. Drink whatever you want, just stay away from soda, coffee, and kool-aid. Those have a lot of sugar in it. You can drink coffee as long as there is little to no amount of sugar.

you seem to be getting decent exercise.I really feel it is your calorie intake that is holding you back.cut your calories . increase your exercise to 6 days a week with some jogging and you will reach your goal.
