My thighs are too muscular?!


Question: My thighs are too muscular?
Im a girl with pretty well built thighs and because of my height, they look too bulky. But im pretty fit and most of it is muscle, so im wondering how to lose or compact some of that muscle? I heard long distance running works (as opposed to like sprinting)?

And btw, i cant exactly "stop excercising" and wait for the muscle to deplete.

Also, i dont do any weight or resistance training for my legs, nor do i do squats lunges etc. I doubt its genetic either. I used to swim and my legs were fine. Now i play field hockey so its more short distance sprinting so maybe thats the reason, but please dont say the only way to change my thighs is to quit field hockey. Because quitting wont change anything because the practices arent really demanding (especially now its the indoor season) but the main reason was i did alot of running to get in shape for field hockey that were more on the short distance side.

So how to make muscles shrink/ look smaller? Or maybe even losing muscle? (woithout stopping excersice)

i think you should just accept it... a lot of people would love to have that. im sure it doesnt look bad. maybe you should workout the rest of your body so that your thighs wont look too muscular. coz to be honest, field hockey alone wont really make your thighs so muscular that it doesnt look good. you're supposed to be into weight training too to achieve that :D

uhm i guess you could probably wear long pants or something? that look good without being too tight? i know this teacher of mine who used to be real fat, but she lost a lot of fat but instead her legs became pretty muscular lol. It doesn't look ugly though when you wear long pants because you cover them up.
