16 year old vegetarian. How can I gain weight?!

Question: 16 year old vegetarian. How can I gain weight?
I'm not going to eat meat. I'm against it.
I weigh 115 pounds. I don't think I'm unhealthy, but apparently I need to gain weight. What are some decent diet tips to help me put on a few pounds?

If you feel good at your weight, then you shouldn't gain. BMI is a joke. Do you like how you look and feel? If you don't feel healthy at your weight, then you can slowly gain weight by eating a steamed sweet potato and a protein ball every day on top of what you regularly eat. But really, 115 doesn't sound too light if you are naturally like that.

Well, you can always have foods with high fat such as hot chips burgers, basically all fast food. Here's a list.- Butter

- Ice cream (contains milkfat)

- Cheese

- Palm oil

- Coconut oil

Well, instead of trying to gain fat weight, you can always opt for muscle weight. That way you'll look great! AND gain weight.

Protein. Nuts, beans... Cashews, bananas, peanut butter or almond butter. Try a good protein shake between meals.
