Haaaa...Your not fat your just......lets just leave it at that..Lol
Anyway back to your question it is possible to loose the weight but it is gonna take alot of time hearing from a person that did it before. If your trying to save money I would think to do it at home but if if your well committed, and planning on going to the gym everyday then I would use the 600.00 but to me its sounds pretty crazy.

Quick story I was in middle in 8th Grade an really super chunky (180 lbs) and wanted to loose the same weight as you tp (40lbs) but in order to really burn off the fat. I would find steep hills for jogging up and down the never walking unless needing to take an emergency break crunches, push-ups, stretching the regular etc... Also if your a person that eats junk food I would stop now and only eat it once a week then after that summer I lost 20 lbs then to lose the rest I quicky became a long distance runner on the track team high school now and that's what im doin to maintain my wieght now but im going to tell you now not scare you or anything if you join the gym there going to work you to death but there going to help and nag at you so try to stay away from the junk as much as possible and maintain a good diet and keep excersing at least an hour a day not 30 mins because if of you really want to see results your going to have to push yourself but not to do hard

Im Hope the best for you and I hope to hear you made your goal and dont give up! (:
This is a hard thing to do and it is not easy at all! If I can do it you can do it too!
Good Luck!(:

$600.00 for a one year membership is waaay to much. That's $50/month!!!! Purchase an MP3 player and running shoes or a bike. Run or jog for at least 30 minutes a day. Do push-ups and sit-ups every other day after running or jogging. Do this everyday for 2 months along with a HEALTHY DIET (NO TORTILLAS, BURRITOS, ETC.... and I'll guarantee that you'll lose weight.

If you are really determined you should go to gym. In the gym, you have a trainer that will monitor you and instruments are always available. If it's in our house with a friend it will end up nothing and just hanging out.

Well you are going to see more results from going to the gym and getting a personal trainer. They will help you keep motivated and help you keep on goal with workouts and diet. They also know what you need to be doing to lose weight. It is very hard to get motivated when you have the option of watching tv or go workout. Its very easy to slack when no one is pushing you. Get a good personal trainer and workout hard and keep to DIET and you will see great results! Good luck!

Losing 40 lbs in 2 months is too fast to lose. 1. Eat a balanced died don't go on a diet just make healthier choices, also work out at home. Mayb go for a jog everyday. I'm 14 and had the same problem. Last year was overweight, I joined the school track team, lost the weight and even went to state. After the track season I kept running everyday and I look great. You should try it, it'll make you feel better also make you feel like you have more energy throuought the day;) hope I helped answer your question. Wish all my luck to u!;)
