why don't i have abs yet?!

Question: Why don't i have abs yet?
I've been doing cardio and ab workouts for over 2 weeks now and i still cannot see any results.
I have a well balance diet and do at least 30mins workout a day. Is there anything else i could do to get abs and tighten it?

jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight
evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal
weight, lower for overweight).
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it's parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat - if you have any - six
pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these
crunches - I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

2 weeks is hardly time at all to see drastic results. It depends on how thick a layer of fat lays on top your ab muscles. Gotta burn enough fat to see the muscles. Healthy weight loss is no more that 2 pounds a week. And that means an even loss over your whole body, not just 2 pounds in one spot, so no matter how big or small you are, a loss of only 4 pounds in a period of two weeks is hardly noticeable if at all. Plus, you can't bulk up your muscles that fast. So just take it slow, quit staring at the mirror and just keep working out and eating right. You will eventually see results if you stay consistent, but you will burn out and get frustrated if you keep focusing on the mirror.

Do proper Ab work out.

40 Crunches, 20 Knee taps each knee, 50 Hammer Throws, 30 Elbow to knees and 1 minute bridge.

If you think thats tough, then i envy you for seeing a challenge because thats not even what i suggest to my new members for minimum. Min would be 70 crunches. 40 knee taps, 100 Hammer Throws, 60 E to K, 1 minute Bridge and more.

You will def see results when done right. Be sure to be warmed up and to save Abs for the end of your training.

Give it more time!

Great that you're doing cardio and ab workouts + having a well balanced diet but 2 weeks is just the beginning :)
Keep it up and in 2 months or so, you should be able to see some results if you stick to your workout plan and do everything right!

Good luck and stick with it! It's worth it.

You should have a look this method that I use. It works very well for me and I lost 15 pounds in one month. You can get more info here link below.
