Question: How much protein should i be taking in to gain weight?
ive been taking in a lot of carbs because i read that is the best way to weight gain. i have also read that you need a lot of protein to weight gain. i was just wondering about how much protein i need to take in to gain weight the fastest. i also drink whey protein some times. it would be great if someone could also tell me how many times a day i should drink the whey protein. thanx!!

Answers:

You need to eat a little more than 1 g of protein for each pound you weigh.

If you weighed 145 you would need to eat 145-150 pounds of protein every day.

I wouldn't suggest using more than 30 grams of weigh protein per day.

NATURAL peanut butter (to avoid the hydrogenated oils), natural yogurt, chicken, whole oats, stuff like that. Eggs.



You don't really need to eat that much protein on its own. You just need to increase your intake of ALL foods you eat. Some people eat loads of junk and little protein and still put on a lot of weight.

What you want is to exercise a lot, and eat a lot more of the 5 basic food groups.



eat that sh!t breakfast lunch and dinner!
