Vegetarian Diet Help Please?! (Bit of a long shot maybe :S)?!

Question: Vegetarian Diet Help Please?! (Bit of a long shot maybe :S)?
Sorry, This will be a long and rather complicated one!

I need tasty ideas for keeping me full whilst losing weight, particularly for breakfast and lunch. I only need to lose about 10lbs to get to my target weight and I am going to the gym, but I don't have time to go more than once or twice a week. I'm vegetarian, so that means no red or white meat, fish, gelatin or any other animal products (sorry if that seems obvious but some people who call themselves veggie do eat fish) I do eat eggs, milk etc. I like most vegetables, not so much fruit, eat tofu, quorn and stuff and my only allergy is brazil nuts. My diet isn't too bad in terms of main meals but I'm awful at snacking on crisps, chocolate etc. so I need ideas to keep me away from the bad foods and on three meals a day, and I'm at school so not at home during the day. Any ideas?

If you eat eggs and cheese you are a vegetarian as you already mentioned, and identified yourself as correctly. You are not a vegan, as others have mentioned.. Vegan's eat absolutely no animal products. Vegetarians eat no flesh foods, but will eat eggs, milk and cheese.

The best way to feel full is to eat high volume low calorie foods that blunt sugar release such as oatmeal, and lots of low glycemic load vegetables.

Avoid fruits or any vegetable that has a high glycemic load. Stick to fruits and veggies with a low glycemic load

Also, include heart healthy fats such as unprocessed, non-hydrogenated coconut oil. Coconut oil is a medium chain fat that is used first for energy rather than stored as fat. Fish oil or flax seed oils are also have been shown to help the body burn calories.

Snack on celery and raw low glycemic load vegetables. Also popcorn made with non-hydrogenated coconut oil rather than butter or other fats will suppress your appetite.

High protein foods such as eggs for breakfast will blunt your appetite by keeping blood-sugar levels on an even keel.

The glycemic load of foods is more important than the glycemic index.

Here is a link to the two lists. Which lists foods and their glycemic LOAD.

Sorry if you don't like my suggestion
I think you should, should and should try fruit salad in which you can put the fruits that you like.
Also if you go to some shops they have different types of "spices" for fruit salad or you can just put salt and pepper to make it tasty.
Also try to avoid junk food
Try to do exercise
Try to avoid fried vegetable dish
You can have some videos on internet showing you the right reciepes according to what you want
Hope it will help you
A one rocks

I think you mean Vegan. If you eat tofu and other soy-based products - expect to work VERY VERY hard to remove the body fat. Soy isn't the "miracle" food that it's touted to be. It causes insulin spikes - storing glutins as bodyfat almost as fast as sugar does.

Sugars and starchy grains should also be avoided - leaving you with unprocessed fruits, veggies, legumes.

so much for giving a long definition of what it means to be a vegetarian:
all vegetarians know that to fit the definition, you DO NOT eat fish.
consider yourself a meat eater; fish counts as meat.

Chocolate and crisps may contain animal products, i'd check labels carefully if i were that way inclined.
