Cardio workouts I can do in the winter at home?!


Question: Cardio workouts I can do in the winter at home?
Hey. I normally go to my school gym and jog on the treadmill for about 20 minutes but this week we don't have school(mid-winter break). I have a treadmill at home but its in the garage where its freezing and its standing up. I am not able to move it, it weights to much. So what are some cardio workouts i can do that simulate the heart rate at which i would run. Any cardio ideas would be helpful.

I swear by running up and down the stairs. It's a great cardio workout. :)



Well, you want to try to avoid slow steady state cardio if you can. You can get your heart rate up by doing bodyweight exercises and it will also help to work the entire body and increase your strength. Try out this workout which will help tone your body while also adding variety so you can enjoy your workout

Jog around the room in a circle.



Dance! There's also zumba, Tai bo .... all kinds of stuff out there.
