Question: Will this help towards my weight loss?
I use the cross-trainer(elliptical trainer) for 60 minutes.
I swim 50 lengths (front crawl).
I do this 3 times a week.
I find it's the best to exercises for me and tones up all my body well.

Do you think this will help me towards my weight loss goal?

Yes, absolutely! Both are very good exercises, swimming is one of the best whole body work outs.

But its really best to mix it up. Your body will adjust to the same routine and your weight loss will slow down and eventually plateau after a couple months. You need to increase the level of your workout and do different things after a couple weeks to really get the most out of your workouts. Try bike riding, running, aerobics, weights, whatever. Every couple of weeks switch to a new exercise. This will keep the weight loss going full steam.

Absolutely I recommend this to all my people. for losing weight. If you feel you need to step it up a bit then step it up and use weights will you swim on your hands and feet but be careful when ever you are toning your body you subsequently burn fat.
