Question: I'm worried about my health... (btw im 12)?
I came down with a thing called Sever's Disease in late September. For those that don't know, its a common cause of childhood heel pain that needs to go away on its own. Anyway, so all of my sports, (tennis, soccer, and football) have been canceled ever since. Im not upset about that, but my eating habits were always very bad. I eat a ton of junk and 3 servings of lunch and dinner. I used to use all of those sports activites to balance out my weight, but now that I'm refrained from excursive till late July, I've put on almost ten pounds and have become very sluggish. I'm trying to protect myself and eat less but its not working :(. Help~!!!

(BTW even though I'm 12, 10 pounds is enough to be worried about. And 100 pounds NOW)

Wow, you sound exactly like me. Your 12, you have heel pain that takes forever to go away, and you eat crap. I wonder if you happen to have the same name...



There are plenty of exercises that you can do at home without putting pressure on your heels. Try typing 'sofa exercises' into your browser. Then whenever you get an urge to snack between meals do some 'sofa exercises'. Also I would think swimming would be good if your dr allows it.



100 pounds is not that bad for a 12 year old if you're worried about eating habits see your doctor or look up online on ways to reduce bad eating habits until your heel pain goes away.....good luck :D but dont become anerexic a normal 12 year old weighs between 100 and 112 pounds so......
