Question: Why are squats making my butt small? my confidence is so low please help?
I have been doing squats for about 3 months now, my butt is flat. I hate the way my jeans looks saggy and even with a belt on they feel too big i wear a size 1 in jeans. My bra size is a 32c but my A** is flat and I hate the way my body looks i have an awful shape :( I started doing squats thinking it would give my butt more of a shape and maybe stick out a little but it infact made the little bit of butt that i had even smaller. My confidence is so low right now, my friends go out in their tight dresses, jeans, and bathing suits at the beach but my confidence is so low that i wear baggy sweat pants to avoid hearing guys make negative comments about my body. Is it just my luck that squats are making my a** smaller or is that what they do? Any ideas about what i can do? I dont want a video chick booty i just want a shape. please any advice will help

Khaleel is wrong. Squats do not cause you to lose fat in just that area. It is IMPOSSIBLE to spot reduce. In order to gain muscle mass in that area you will have to continuously increase the weight you are using while doing the squats. Just increasing your reps and sets will only build endurance which is not what you're going for. Also, you must allow adequate rest in between the days that you do squats. Allow at least 48 hrs after doing them to repeat your squat routine. The reason your butt got smaller is probably because you lost weight. Did you weigh yourself 3 months ago and recently? Unfortunately there are no foods that will increase just your butt. If you wouldn't mind gaining a few pounds that might help but otherwise your only option is progressive weight training and lots and lots of protein along with some healthy carbs.



I know you want a bigger butt, so do I, but you should not feel so bad about yourself or pay attention to those guys that make negative comments towards you. Just keep yourself in shape and healthy.



squats make you lose weight in the thigh and butt area so whoever told you doing them would give more shape mislead you because it makes you LOSE fat content in that area.

common sense?



If you are a size 1 and a cup size of 32c why would guys make negative comments?
