Will it be healthy for me to eat only salads and vegetables?!

Question: Will it be healthy for me to eat only salads and vegetables?
I'm 18 and I plan on getting 'fit' and healthier by losing some of my belly fat. I'm skinny, but i have a lot of fat in my stomach area and want to get it off in about a month or so. I know for a fact my diet is extremely poor. I eat pizza at school religiously and my family is more of the fast food type. I was wondering if it would be healthy to eat salads, veggies and fruits. I would probably include proteins like ham and chicken once in awhile. I would also like to cut out sodas and sugar in general...and of course this will be mixed in with walks/jogs everyday but nothing too hardcore yet. any ideas?

im not much of a healthy person, and since im headed out to college soon this would also help with freshman-15 ahead of time :p

Answers:

No it wouldn't be healthy because you're not eating nutritiously. You need proteins everyday! You would lose energy just eating salads & veggies. Try something like this -

Breakfast: Oatmeal w. skim milk or omelette w. low fat cheese, peppers..
Snack: 1 fruit
Lunch: Salad w. lean meat/tuna/chicken/salmon etc or brown rice sushi
Dinner: Grilled fish/halibut/chicken/salmon and so on with a side of veggies.
Snack: Green tea

You need at least 40g of protein a day or you will have serious health problems. chicken once in a while probably won't help. Try putting beans, chickpeas, or eggs on the salad.

The easiest way to lose weight that ive found is this diet system... I highly recommend it.
