What is a good way to get protein?!


Question: What is a good way to get protein?
Today after our workout, my coach said "Get your protein, you don't want to waste your workout" and im afraid that i worked hard as hell just to lose it. I don't have any protein supplements so is there anything else i can use? If i should be using supplements where do i get them?

Peanut butter, and dont forget your meats! Of course eat the healthy meats. For example: Lean pork. Protein is also important for the growth and repair of your body.



Any meats are good but if you wish to lose weight I would say you stay away from meats, eggs, and nuts, grab protein supplements instead. At my local Wal-Mart a large jar of protein mix costs 24 dollars. It comes with a ton of other minerals and taurine for energy. More protein, less calories, fats and carbs.

Other than that, just eat regularly. Vegetables and Fruits also contain amino acids and proteins. :)



Chocolate milk is pretty good right after a workout, along with cottage cheese, greek yogurt, eggs, tuna, or any kind of fish for that matter, and obviously lean skinless chicken.

If you are going to buy a supplement get it online, the prices in stores are outrageous. You should be able to get enough protein in a day from a normal diet, but if you are really serious about bulking up buy Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% whey and casein.

You take whey within 30-60 minutes of lifting, and casein in the morning and before bed if you do decide to get them.



you can get protein from eating chicken or eggs. if you want to buy protein supplements go to a drugstore
