When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.
If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which
will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow
underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without
exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For
diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don't eat wheat then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don't eat junk food, and you don't eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It's not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

Go check with your doctor if you need to lose weight ? I am 5 2 and know my ideal weight should be 10 5 stone and aren't you about right for your height. I am overweight but have found that only exercise a little often has helped me lose weight and I have like you recently turned from being a vegetarian back to eating meat yoga, walking that kind of gentle exercise worked best for me.

good luck and once you get to 30 then the weight will pile on quicker you've got ages yet so just take your time losing that weight then keep fit

Losing weight in someone so young is not straight forward and will require medical/dietetic supervision. Even in adults the average weight loss is only 9-15lbs a year, so this is a long term lifestyle issue, requiring both an appropriate diet and very regular vigorous exercise.

I have a 13 year old daughter that was also wanting ideas on how to loos weigh quickly. I have gotten her a few health books and guides to try and she has done well so far. The main thing is to keep track of what you eat and it may have to do with your metabolism. Maybe change up your routine as well. Another thing too is try to eat less fatty foods. I visited this site called http://www.eatfatty.com and it has some information for fatty people. Hope this helps.

try keeping a food diary. writing down everythin you eat really helps as sometimes we can eat bad things without even realising. make portions smaller and eat more regular. dont let yourself get hungry as this stops the burning of fats in your body. try to exercise daily, even if its only for 10 minutes. and make sure you treat yourself to 'naughty' foods sometimes. if you cut out all the junk food then it wont be long befor you start binging on it. good luck x

Try with some crunches. You lay down with your knees bent up and keeping your feet flat, you lift your other half of you body to your knees. Do some squats! Do not lift weights yet or else it will strain your mussels ! Eat plenty of greens and vitamins. Protine also couldn't hurt! If you can, go on a jog for atleast ten minuets a day. In a month or so doing all this, you'll be in the shape you need!

You say you eat normally but maybe you don't eat as well as you think you do. You might be saying to yourself "Well I just had a sandwich for dinner" when that could actually be piling on the pounds.

For example, a tuna and sweetcorn malted bap from Co-op has approximately the same calories and fat as a Big Mac.

By the way you can still be a healthy vegetarian, you just need to educate yourself about healthy food and eating habits.

A 500ml bottle of orange juice like Just Juice that you buy in the newsagent, whilst nutritious and containing very little fat, it contains 220 calories. That's more than a KFC drumstick which has 200 calories (plus a load of fat obviously).

I would suggest keeping a food diary for a week and write EVERTHING down, even those couple of crisps your friend offered you and that last chocolate that was left in the box.

You basically need to use more calories than you take in to lose weight. Your body uses more calories to process protein and fibre than it does to process carbs and fat, so eat lean meats, fish, wholegrain pulses and vegetables and avoid (or keep to a minimum) things like bread, white rice, oil, jam.
