Question: How much weight is added to a scale when you are wearing shoes and a sweater?
say you weigh with shoes and a sweatr on hown many pounds would you take away from the scales analized body weight?

I am 98lbs at 5'2"
I need to gain weight (Stres related)
I am wondering since I was wearing a sweater and shoes it added 3lbs to me??? how does that work?

I tried google and found nothing of true value

Answers:

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it added somewhere around 3lbs. Usually it's like 2-4lbs, anywhere from there, depending on how thick the material is.

its not enough to really be significant, but i guess around 2-3lbs. but thats also the amount of water you can lose/gain, before/after a workout. so when you lose and gain 3lbs here and there, that can also be the water in your body.

why dont you just weigh your clothes?
