I had the same problem as you and I went to see a nutritionist and she helped me lose so much weight. I eat 5-6 times a day, never feel hungry and have enough energy to do exercise. I've never felt so great before. Of course I have a very specific eating plan. But she gave me advice that anyone can follow to help them.

First off, don't starve yourself. Eat 5-6 small meals a day and try eat every 3 hours.
Secondly, try taking wheat out of your diet. Wheat isn't good for most people
Don't be afraid of fat, and I mean essential fats. Try cook with olive oil and eat avocado, eat raw unsalted nuts such as almonds. Stay away from canola oil, margarine and Sugar. Real Butter is okay every now and then
Eat at least 4-5 portions of vegetables everyday.
Try cut salt out of your diet. Salt is super bad for you.
Try eat raw live foods - STAY AWAY from processed foods. Processed food have been refined and contain a lot of salt and Sugar (Even processed products that state they are fat free)
Try cut out red meat and eat more chicken and fish
Drink at least 2 lit res of water everyday
And take vitamins, get good dosages of Omega 3 oils, Vitamin C and tablets for the liver.
Try not to drink alcohol. If you do stick to a minimum of 2 glasses of red wine every now and then
Try do exercise at least 3 times a week for at least half an hour.

These rules will help you. And remember to be patient. If you lose weight too quickly, you will gain it just as quick. To be losing weight healthily, you should lose about half a kg a week.

Good luck honey. ;-)

Please please do not try all these low calorie diets or starve yourself . Yes you may lose a few kilos and then what ?

* what happens when you start eating normally ? Or do you plan to diet forever ?

You have to understand the nature of our body and how it works . The brain is the 'godfather' and tells the body what and what not to do.Let me explain -

When you deprive the body of foods , 'godfather' sends a signal to the body to use up the fats that's stocked up to run the mill . So you lose weight right ? Will you continue the diet ? Of course not....you will eat Normally ( less than before perhaps ) That's when another problem starts...which is the yo yo effect . Yup , the body has no more stock so whatever little you eat the body decides to replenish the empty ware house and worse still decides to stock more in case of emergency .

Food is not the problem here but rather how you eat and at what intervals . You wouldn't believe it if I say that you can still eat normally and still lose weight right ?

Space and time is short so I suggest you visit the website for more info and the myth about losing weight. You'll be surprised .Lots to learn and nothing to lose !
