Conquering the Beep test?!

Question: Conquering the Beep test?
Hey I'm trying to work out a fitness plan

I'm trying to get into the Australian Military.

I need to score a shuttle run of 7.5.

my best is 6.3 which makes me 220 metres short.

I use to be able to destroy these things but now i'm paying the consequnes of being a couch pototo for a year.

Any tips to nail this thing?

Well breathe at a steady pace...that helped me and i got to 8.3 and im only 13 an im not relly tht fit. But basically our teacher told us that it isnt relly about how fit you are, its about how good you are at taking in oxygen, which will then give you the energy. An if this is something you really want then youve just got to go for it (or pretend that a dog is chasing you :)) Hope this helps and you get the 7.5 :)

Here is me 2 cents,I recommend to only weigh you self once a month, gaining weight and losing fat can go hand and hand, muscle increases while you burn fat. So you may notice you fit better in to your jeans or shirt. Also depends on water retention, did you take any supplements, or last time you weigh your self it was in the morning and maybe this time it was at night. So it all depends. But don’t beat your self up about it. If you are eating right and working out you will see results. So put the scale away and maybe even take a picture every 30days and weight your self also and you will notice the difference. Hit me up on my youtube account if you have any questions or would like me to help you achieve your goal. Peace
