How much should I weigh?!


Question: How much should I weigh?
I'm 14, and I'm half way between 4ft 11 and 5 ft. I currently weigh 87 lbs, what is a healthy weight for me?

You're underweight now, so I say get to 90-95



well, i'm 16 (female)
i used to do training and i developed enough muscle mass and muscle volume..i used to weigh much more but now i weigh 50kg (i think it's about 110lbs) and i'm about 1.68m (i think it's nearly 5.5ft)
i believe that my weight it's ok and some times i say that "i should probable lose some weight" (to be honest i'm not sure if i need to lose weight..i see my body as a normal teenage body..and you are even lighter than me if my calculations are correct!)

i thus believe, that no one can answer correctly to your question..the best weight for you, is the weight that you feel fine with yourself.. and that's what scientists actually say! i personally believe that your weight is more that fine for your age and height!:)

tip: try to read the book "the secret"..it has many interesting views and i assure you it will give answers to many of your questions:)



Healthy weight isn't really measured like that. Muscle weighs more than fat for instance & you need to have more muscle than fat.



i'd say somewere between 95-105



your ideal weight should be 50-52 Kg.



Depending on BMI (body mass index)
You should be over 100lbs
