Question: Is it good if i work out everyday? i'm 16?
i recently turned 16 and for about 2 or 3 weeks i've worked out every day
5 sets of 5 reps bench press (as many reps as i can which is up to 7 no less than 5)
3 sets of super 7's (an exercise with a curl bar)
2 or 3 sets of like 20-30 crunches
and sometimes running like this week since im on break and theres no basketball practice
i do this everyday of the week in the afternoon

I think you should follow your own wishes....

Give yourself a day off each week if you feel the need to, its great that you've committed to improving your body and if you feel able to continue at the pace you've set yourself then that's great.
Listen to your body, if it needs rest, then rest. If you feel like working out extra hard one day, do it.
Make sure you eat enough protein, carbs and vitamin rich food, keep hydrated and your body will grow.

No more then 5 days, and cut way back. Trying to get there fast, is the biggest mistake people make. Don't do all you can, your going to fatigue your muscles, it takes time for your body to adjust. If you push it too far, it won't be adjusting, it will be dealing, which is counter-productive. 16 you've got forever, slow it down, focus on form and a sensible routine, you'll get there!

It is good and it shows your wanna get out there and not be lazy. An hour a day is recommended everyday for at least an hour but more is good...just be careful not to push yourself to hard..im a dancer and I do about 3/4 hours of working out everyday...its just the way you balance things...a heathy well balanced diet is needed too.

u need to let ur muscles repair themselves ur gonna end up hurt like that
take one day off
do cardio two days a week at least 1hr and 30 minutes
2 days of lower body workout
2 days of upper body workout
so ur week would look something like this
day one
upper body
day two
cardio
day three
lower body
day four
cardio
day five
upper body
day six
lower body
day seven
off

make sure that ur excercises target all ur muscles. cardio keeps excess fat off if u don't do cardio whatever muscle u build up will be hidden under the fat and u won't see any results

You should give yourself at least one rest day every week for your body to rest and recover from the rest of the week's exercise. Maybe mix up your sessions so you have a couple of cardio sessions a week as well as/in place of the crunches etc.

Hope this helps!

No it is not okay to workout everyday. Your muscles need rest to recuperate. You should lift at the max 5 times a day.
