How much weight can i lose by March 11th?!

Question: How much weight can i lose by March 11th?
I'm a dancer and have always been quite muscular. My legs are fine, I've never had to work them out, I'm just having trouble with my arms and belly. I use a resistance band since I cannot afford to go to a gym so I workout as much as I can using other means. But my weight does not lower more than 142. Throughout the week I keep seeing my weight chance from 142-149 and it doesn't ever just STAY on one. It's quite frustrating as I've never really dieted before. I am eating pretty well, I could cut back on the sweets a bit, which I will try. But is it a possibility to get past this wall I've come across? Any suggestions?

My thyroid is enlarged and the doctor said it's effecting my metabolism.
I am also on Paxil and after I started taking them, is when I blew up.
This is my third week of consistent working out. I do it for about 1 1/2 everyday about 5 times a week. Anything from yoga, to dance, to running, then I use a resistance band for my arms. I don't understand why I can't get past this wall. Help!?

Answers:

I have to lose weight by that date too!

Basically what has helped me is exercising, cutting out all junk food and eating smaller more frequent meals throughout the day. I'm also limiting my bread and cheese (I tend to eat a lot of it). Make changes to your lifestyle by cutting out the less than healthy food you tend to eat a lot of it. If you generally eat healthy then try cutting down calories but not too many (or your body will go into starvation mode).

Hope this helped and good luck!

You have reached a calorie equilibrium. The weight fluxuations are from water and food entering and exiting your system. You have to eat less. It takes an hour of hard training to burn 500 calories. It takes a minute or two to eat them back.

No soda, No candy, No chocolate, No TV and no internet.. you'll lose 15-20lbs easily

its your med that is making u bloated and u are having a slower metabolism thats the side effects of Thyroid enlargement and meds.Talk to your dactor and he or she will elp u out
