Is this healthy to eat?!

Question: Is this healthy to eat?
I have an addiction to peanut butter.
i eat it everyday, but i never go over the recommended amount.

My question is, if i eat one serving of peanut butter one day (which i usually do), can i still have another serving of a different kind of nut? Like almonds or walnuts? Or should i only stick with one serving of one type of nut each day?

btw, im not over weight, i eat healthy and exercise.

If you are eating healthy and exercising, I see no harm in having another serving of a different type of nut .. nuts are so yummy! lol =)

One serving of peanut butter is about a tablespoon, isn't it? that's not very much. taht's like merely taking a taste of it. It would be more troublesome if you were eating half a jar a day. so I wouldn't worry about this much peanut butter.

It is much healthier for you to try and get many different kinds of nuts, especially almonds and walnuts. Each has their own benefits. Black walnuts also have great benefits to helping to cleanse the liver.
The thing you have to worry about is that nuts DO have lots of calories to them. They were usually used in older times for protein sources during winter, when you didn't have access to lots of meat. Nuts also have many kinds of oils which help the body stay healthy during winter, again due to lack of access of other foods during cold times.

I'd say that a handful of nuts would be easily tolerated. You might even make a small snack bowl with a variety of nuts in them. somethign to snack on other than chips or candy, etc.
The other thing that they caution about nuts is all the salt that is put on them. Be sure to read all the nutritional labels on the bags to check how much salt and oils you're getting.

Only other important thing is the price. Nuts are somewhat expensive, but definitely worth it.

I'm sure it's fine. Do try to eat just peanut butter, not the kind that has a ton of sugar in it.

A handful of any kind of nut once a day is very good for you. Literally millions of people on our Earth do this to stay healthy.

Nothing wrong. I used to use it with my protein shakes but I switched to straight almond butter (pure almonds, no artificial sweeteners). Might want to look into that.

You are doing just fine. Try eating other nuts as well for a more variable nutrient base. Good munching.

no thats absolutely fine
