You will get much more cinnamon in supplements than by eating cinnamon. I take cinnamon capsules and they're 500 mg. taht's quite a bit. Besides, cinnamon by itself isn't taht tasty. I remember my mom having a sugar/cinnamon mix for toast, and it was yummy.....of course with all that sugar!! Then when I tried cinnamon by itself, whoa!!

Cinnamon is suggested to control the sugar in your blood. By helping to neutralize the blood sugar, then the body doesn't dump lots of insulin into the blood, which is what will then help put on pounds.

So it's okay to use cinnamon on your foods. YOu'd get just a tiny bit, and how much of your food can you really add cinnamon to? I find the cinnamon capsules much easier to take because then the cinnamon digests in your stomach where you don't have the funny taste.
Just go to walmart and you can buy the capsules there. I have used walmart vitamins and herbal supplements and have found them very inexpensive and yet very effective. good things at good prices.
