Will I gain weight if I start eating more?!


Question: Will I gain weight if I start eating more?
I work out 4 times a week running for 45 minutes and then I weight train twice for 30 minutes every week.

I am a recovering anorexic so I'm only eating like 1200 calories...I know I have to eat more so I'm going to try to go up to around 1500..I am terrified that I'm going to gain weight, I don't think I will, because I am exercising so heavily.


Also, the same-ish situation happened a month ago when I was eating my lowest--700 calories and I was exercising at this time too, and I went up to 1200 calories and I was terrified of gaining weight..but I didn't..so I shouldn't now right?

If you want to gain weight why are you exercising so hard!!!! Hun, you probably look bad right now your so skinny (NO offence!) but people who have anorexia and bulimia aren't very attractive, people underweight aren't attractive at all. You should be eating at least 1200 calories a day, stop worrying about how much you eat, you don't need to count them if you want to GAIN weight! STOP execising so hard!!! Just take a walk every day, that's good enough, your not trying to lose weight so you don't need to exercise as much!



First of all, being like, 5lbs overweight is not bad,
Second, there is no way you will gain weight by adding 300 calories if you exercise like that, so feel free to eat even more. Indulge yourself with large hot fudge sundays



the more you eat the faster your metabolism goes. So, because you weren't eating yours is very low. so, you will can weight until you regulate it again with working out and food.



you are thinking about increasing your caloric intake by 300 calories? that is literally nothing. if anything you are malnourished right now and need to eat more with the physical exercise you are doing right now

well since your body was in starvation mode, its gonna put on weight easily when you start eating normally again. so yeah u'll gain weight. and its NOT a bad thing.



Maybe you should/nt exercise so much and eat more so you won't be anorexic anymore.Too skinny is/not good either
