What Do You Think Of People Who Are "Pro-Fat", To Put It Bluntly?!

Question: What Do You Think Of People Who Are "Pro-Fat", To Put It Bluntly?
I'm all for people embracing who they are, but I think people who are pro fat, and intentionally make themselves fat when they have a choice, is just as bad as the Pro Anorexia movement, but seemingly supporting anorexia is a whole lot more controversial that supporting obese people. the health risks are equally dangerous on both sides..

Was watching LA ink the last day, and a guy walks in and asks for a tattoo of an obese lady, cause that's what he's into. I think if he asked for a tattoo of an anorexic girl they would've kicked him out, do we aggree or not?

Thoughts and opinions please!
Thanks all.

Is there something wrong with liking big women? I hate to break the news to you sweetie but if guys didn’t like fat chicks an awful lot of you younger generation women would be terribly lonely. Liking a fuller figure or a fat chick is a preference just like any other. I saw the episode that you are referring to and the guy never said he was intentionally into making women or forcing women to be fat (i.e. feederism). If he had come in and said he wanted a tat of an anorexic woman he would have been essentially admitting that he thought a deadly mental illness was sexy and that he wanted to promote it. This is the problem many of you have differentiating between obesity and anorexia. You have no clue that anorexia is a delusional mental illness that takes all control and choice away from the victim. This is because so many of you young girls today practice it (third most chronic illness in adolescent girls) and you think you can control it. But the bottom line is that the disease actually controls you.

On the other hand obesity or being “pro-fat” is a choice made by the fat person and their admirer. With exception of extreme cases, obesity is not a pathological mental illness. Being pro-fat is a choice that says being fat is sexy and desirable and that no matter how much I weigh I should love myself and enjoy life. Also most people who are so called pro-fat know and understand the health risks involved. They just choose to view them as side effects of their different lifestyle. They are very aware of what they are doing to themselves and most have the attitude that if and when something it happens, I’ll deal with it. Also being fat does not automatically mean you are unhealthy as many fat people have healthy cholesterol levels, normal or controlled blood pressure numbers, normal blood sugar and healthy blood triglyceride levels, etc. Furthermore being pro-fat or part of the FA community is a form of social rebellion and is seen as a way to free yourself from societal pressures to conform. In many ways this is good for the individual on a spiritual level and is said to promote healthy levels of self esteem.

Someone afflicted with anorexia doesn’t have a choice their mentally unbalanced mind and out of control body image takes all choice and control away from them. They don’t understand the health risks because they are uber paranoid about being fat and the associated health risks with being fat. In other word they can’t see the forest for the trees. This level of mental illness is only seen in rare cases of obesity where extreme food addiction is present but it is seen in almost ALL cases of anorexia. Despite the propaganda, anorexia is almost an incurable mental illness. It is resistant to most forms of therapy and medications and it has a very low cure rate. This is because most of those severely afflicted are so pathologically deep into denial that they really don’t want to be cured. Those that do manage to achieve some form of freedom from the disease approx 50% are never truly free from it and must be diligent against falling back into old habits for the rest of their lives. Anorexia has the highest mortality rates of any psychological disorder approximately 20% of those afflicted will die of the disease. Along with the physical health risks people afflicted with anorexia are also prone to other mental illnesses as well such as anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, manic disorders and paranoia. Anorexia is a crippling mental illness that destroys the lives of those afflicted and the lives of those around them. Promoting anorexia would be akin to promoting schizophrenia or psychopathic behavior.

I hate fat people.
