Question: How do i lose weight fast? i need to drop 30 pounds byy May..?
i am 16 years old and 172 pounds 5'5...i wanna lose 30 lbs in about 3 months( swimsuit time!!!)...i never get a summer where i can wear one and feel good about myself..but this year im determined..iv already started exercising evrey morning before school i get up and run 3 to 6 time around two blocks...i was just gonna stop eating period but then i heard about when you do that and start back eating that you gain it all back...now im counting carbs and exercisng..but i have NNOO idea what to go buy fer this diet and my parents do not eat very healthy..so im buying my own foods.. i need breakfast and lunch and im just gone eat a little snack for dinner like carrots er something..will this helppppllleeaassee help??? got any other ideas???

Eat a lot of fruits and veggies but make sure you don't exceed 1300 calories that you take in. The dinner should be your biggest meal so just eating some carrots will hurt you more than help. You can still eat pastas and it's good for if you are working out because it gives you more energy but you should eat only whole wheat pastas so they are healthy and they have healthy sauces that you can use. They come pre-made depending on your grocery stores. Stay away from saturated foods and ones that say reduced fat. Low fat is a much better choice and low fat yogurt is filling and very healthy. Also you should start doing a full body workout a long with your running. It will give you better results and help you build muscle to look great in a swimsuit.

Get a workout buddy or support buddy. Find someone with similar goals and to support and keep you on track with your fitness goals. I have a friend I talk to daily on messenger and she helps me stay motivated and achieve my fitness goals.

Set a goal for yourself. Whether it be to lose 10 lbs or fit into those size 4 jeans, set a time frame and then when you reach that goal, reward yourself with some new clothes or your favorite free meal.

Take pictures. Take a picture of yourself in swim suit or shorts and after a couple weeks of workouts, take another picture and compare. It's a great motivational tool when you see the results!

Cut out a motivational picture. Look in magazines or online and choose a body type that you would like to have. Hang it on your fridge and look at it every day. Envision yourself looking like that picture. When you are on the treadmill and getting tired, think of that picture and push yourself to work even harder to reach that goal.

Plan your workouts. When you make a plan to go running or lift some weights, you are more likely to actually DO them, so sit down and plan when and what workouts you want to do for a whole week.
