Im losing size, but not shifting weight?!

Question: Im losing size, but not shifting weight?
Im overweight and am trying to lose weight. it is working. brilliantly in fact.

my problem is that while ive dropped a dress size, i havent really lost any actual weight on the scales. im doing toning excersizes aswell as some cardio and just general fitness (walking)
Im happy with where i am, my aim is to get smaller. but why hasnt my weight changed?
im eating healthy. although i probably could (and should) improve in a few areas. but overall i eat healthily.
I excersize daily (well 5-6days a week).

any tips? i dont want to do a proper 'diet' i want to lost this weight slowly and steadily, with right choices.

Don't worry so much about your weight, just how slimed down you are. Muscle weighs more than fat so you are doing a fantastic job. You may still have stored up fat so it won't actually drop the pounds for a little while longer but it will happen. Just don't start to panic because you aren't losing as much weigh as it looks. You are changing fat to muscle which is a fantastic thing.

No one will know how much you weigh but they can tell how slim you are. Don't worry about numbers. No one is going to walk around with a scale and make you step on it before they check you out or think about approaching you.

Depending on your exercises, you could be building muscle which weighs more than fat and losing inches of fat. That's really a pretty good thing. You're losing inches aand getting into smaller clothes and you're toning your body at the same time. You'll sood see the difference in the way your body looks and will like it.

Muscle is denser than fat (though a lb. of each weighs the same--think about the old lb. of feathers/lb. of bricks riddle). So, you are shedding lbs. of fat and trimming down while replacing those lbs. of fat with leaner, denser muscle.

Weight (and BMI, as it is based on weight) can be misleading. The more lean muscle you build, the more fat you will burn (your metabolism will be higher). So, don't focus as much on the weight. Based on the information you're providing, it looks like you're doing this the right way.

Sounds like you are losing weight the correct weight. give it time and your weight will come down, The more dress sizes you drop while keeping your weight the better off you are.

You're probably just gaining muscle weight which weighs more than fat. Don't worry about it and congratulations!(:
