no cuz you're probally fat, drink too much soda and eat too much fast food, and have a beer gut, you little fatty.
if you do multiple sets of 40 a day you will definitely see results but you will have to increase the amount you do over time
To completely tone your body you will have to incorporate other exercises that work the rest of your body
