Eating within hours of sleeping has negative physical effects right? Can drinkin!
Question: Eating within hours of sleeping has negative physical effects right? Can drinking tea counter/balance that?
I clearly have no knowledge on the science behind it but I've heard only negative things about eating within 2-3 hours of sleeping and only positive things about drinking tea before sleeping as well. Obviously haven't heard terrible things though. Yes I should be eating earlier but that's how it is right now. Just wanna know the science :)

There is absolutely no clinical or scientific evidence that meal frequency or timing has any effect on body composition or weight gain. This myth was most likely started because people noticed that when they cut out the late night snacking, they lost weight. The weight loss was due to total calorie consumption being lowered, not meal timing.
Weight loss /gain is a matter of total calorie consumption vs calories burned.
