Question: Any advise for a 33 year old women that has been lifting weights for almost a year?
I started with an injury a year ago with my shoulder. when i started with the weights i could only bench the bar 45lbs now i bench 140lbs. ive gained 15 lbs muscle. i recently started training to run a marathon. Ive noticed im at a stand still with the weights though i change my routine every 3mo. no results lately.

u need to change up some of the exercises.. and add new ones;.. sometimes do a drop set after your heaviest set.... that means a light weight burn out after lifting your heaviest set.

also.. if your going to run a marthon... u need to start eating more calories... more carbs.. and get on amino acid supplments before and after and during your runs to ensure you dont burn muscle tissue..

marathons punish the body alot..



This may mean you have reached a plateau in your workouts. Since females don't generate as much testosterone as males it will be harder for you to break through the plateau alone so head to your local GNC there are supplements that are taken to help gain new levels.
