Unable to lose weight?!

Question: Unable to lose weight?
I've lost 77lbs over the last 2 years. I am 5'8" and my weight is 132lbs. My goal weight would be 121. My BMI is in a healthy range (20), so could that be the reason why I have been stuck at this weight for 6 months? I have increased my workouts, meaning I run an hour 5x a week (~800 calorie burn) instead of 30-45 minutes 3x a week. I eat between 1200 and 1800 calories a day (I am calorie cycling). Do I have to accept this weight and just be happy or do any of you have some advice for me?

Thank you!

Answers:

First, congratulations on your weight loss! I bet you look fabulous. I am 5'8" also. When I weighed 135 everyone thought I looked great, I lost 18 lbs recently (not intentionally--I lost my desk job first, lol) and now people tell me I'm way too skinny.

You are perfect the way you are. Don't fret about it. I think you should focus on maintaining your weight where it is now.

Drink low fat milk after consuming any dairy as the enzymes in milk work wonders on getting rid of the fats, not only dairy, most fats incidentally.
Secondly, do exercises that use larger muscle groups as this will burn more fat than running. Swimming is exceptionally good, again better than running. Any exercises like squats are also very good (large muscle group exercise burning way more fat than running.)
Switch your diet- seems obvious but you'll find some excellent diet ideas on google and you'll find yet more ways of reducing your callorie intake.
I can't stress enough about using larger muscle groups, thereby burning more fat. (It is MUCH better than running.) - But you should keep running in your exercise regime as cardio / a healthy heart is always a good thing!

There's no reason to stop exercising, and your diet, but you should be happy and accept your weight because it sounds like you've done tremendously. 132 sounds really good for your height. The last 10 pounds are always the hardest though.

If you want to accept it there's nothing wrong with it. You seem to be healthy and thin enough. I'd be very happy if I had your weight and height!

Stay as you are. You are fine. 121 is underweight.

If you like the way you look just be happy :D
