How to lose pounds for summer?!

Question: How to lose pounds for summer?
I don't like my thighs or belly. I have a small patch of light stretch marks on my thigh too.
Swimsuit season starts in late march or early June where I live. I've already lost an inch off my thighs but I want to lose 2 more. And I need a new tactic.
I'm only in middle school so I can't drive to the gym or, believe me, I would. My mom is shorter than me and atleast 50 pounds fatter than I am, she's hovering around 180 or 195 (I'm also trying to inspire her to eat healthily, get to the gym, ect.) so you can guess she's not the healthy eater.
She brings in a lot of cookies and chips so it can be hard for me to stick to a diet.

Anways, I want to lose 2 more inches off my thighs and an inch or more off my belly. I'm not completly against being toned but I want to just look... skinny XD if that makes any sense. I'm playing Kinect sports (mostly Track & Field crossed with boxing and soccer) for an hour a day.
How many pounds is that to lose? Help!? >_<

I would suggest the Fat X Program from the Fat X 101 site. The fat burning workout videos are free and the diet is pretty simple and easy to follow. It's been helping me lose fat, inches, and I can tell my body is more way more toned. Good luck.

Girl, you're only in 'middle school' (I'm British), and second, you're not fat! You shouldn't go to the gym, since you're very young.

There is no guarantee of losing it by summer. And middle school is a great time to start going to the gym and getting in shape and staying in shape. I would jog around the neighborhood for 20-30 minutes a day but make sure you are pushing yourself. You have to be able to jog the whole time though. Figure out what you are capable of and go from there. Get a friend to go with you to stay motivated! Doing body weight exercises like push ups and crunches 3 times a week will help too since muscle burns fat. Good Luck!
