How many less calories does Maruchan Ramen have if you drain all the broth?!

Question: How many less calories does Maruchan Ramen have if you drain all the broth?
I know that Ramen is not good for you. But whenever I eat a package, I cook it as per normal, let it sit in the broth for about a minute (to soak up the flavor), then I drain ALL the broth and eat the noodles dry. They retain barely any of the flavor but I still like it. Anyways, I know that most of the sodium is in the broth mix, and that you can shed some of the calories from the noodles by not drinking the water you cooked them in. I was just wondering if anyone can give me a ball park estimate of how many calories, how much sodium, how many carbs, etc. are shed when I do this. I've looked everywhere online and nothing addresses my Ramen method :P Thanks!

Well i don't have any specific #s Cat, but your right about the little seasoning package. That's definitely where the majority of Calories..& all that SODIUM/FAT..& MSG are. You'd be better off to cook the noodles & add a can of fat free Broth or something, & add some black pepper or whatever seasoning you like. But......that's just my Opinion...LOL!

Unless all you eat is ramen, I really think its probably negligible to dump the juice. If all you eat is ramen, you have other things you are going to need to worry about. I think you should be more concerned about regular bad habits you may have like drinking sodas, bottled teas, eating candy or what ever else you might do more regularly. If an occasional packet of ramen is the only bad thing you do...seriously, don't worry.
