Is it possible to lose thigh fat and not gain muscle?!


Question: Is it possible to lose thigh fat and not gain muscle?
I follow a healthy diet of fruits, veggies, lean meats, grains etc., and I have been doing HIIT 3x a week either on the elliptical or stationary bike followed by strength training involving both the upper and lower body (bicep curls, squats, lunges, etc.) On opposite days I do ab workout videos and hula hoop for 30 min. I've lost some weight in my waist but my jeans are getting tighter!! I'm gaining more muscle in my thighs from the cardio and lunges! Should I stop with my HIIT and hula hoop everyday instead since it requires less thigh muscles? Is it possible to lose thigh fat and not gain muscle???

Why would you want to do that? You want that muscle. It is what makes your legs move and what makes you look toned after you loose all that fat. You realize that VS models are all muscle. that is what makes their bodies look so good. They have low body fat percentages and more muscle.
