why do i have muscle mass but no strength?!

Question: Why do i have muscle mass but no strength?
Well this is my first year lifting weights. I'm 14, weigh roughly 150-155 pounds, and to me it seems like i'm more "muscular" than most of the people my age in my weights class, but they're stronger than me. I squat 230, bench 130 and not sure about hang/power cleans but i rep 95 about 10 times so maybe about 115-125. I don't really see how i'm so weak? i have more muscle than almost everyone my age in my class, a six pack and i'm leaner than them, but yet they weigh about 10 pounds less than me and do more weight than me. I just want to know why this is or if its just because im not eating enough and have no energy to lift heavier... Just please tell me what it is, or if maybe im just being a huge ***** about everything and just need to get a better mindset when lifting?

For your age and weight you are decently strong. But muscle mass does not equal power. There are two main different types of weight lifters.

Bodybuilders, and power lifters. If you are trying to focus more on strength than adding weight try to focus in the small rep ranges, and high set. For example 2-5 reps, for 5 sets.

If you are trying to look for a routine to gain strength, try ripptoes starting strength.

Your 14 your body is changing fast, keep lifting i bet you will be super strong in a year or 2
