Should/Need I go on a diet?!


Question: Should/Need I go on a diet?
I'm turning 16 in 2 weeks, I'm about 5'2 (158 cm) and I weigh 139-141 lbs. I usually fit a medium in shirts, a size 8-9 in shoes, and size 27 or 5-7 in jeans (with a belt to hold them up). My B/W/H are 35/28/36. My BMI is 25.5 which tells me that I'm a bit overweight. If I were to lose 5 pounds I would be a healthy weight. However, I work out everyday for 15 minutes (jumping jacks, crunches, lunges) and I do yoga 3x a week at home. I do have muscle from working out. My jean size makes me feel sort of fat because my friends are like... size 1 or 3 and also not being able to fit well into a size small shirt. But sometiems I look in the mirror and think about how I don't look like a stick and that I can fill out some outfits better. But maybe I do need to lose weight...should I?

dont let anyone tell you that you need to loose weight. if you look in the mirror and you are unhappy, then you know what to do ;)



you should count your calories, just to see if you're eating too much. cause when you excercise, you might feel the need to eat more.. but don't go crazy and obsess over it. if your calories are too high, just eat healthier, and drink allooooottt more water. try http://www.livestrong.com/myplate/ cause it's awesome (:
